Betsy Lee is co-founder and Managing Partner of High Meadow Strategies LLC, a business strategy consulting firm located in Lexington, Virginia.  Betsy offers a wealth of experience helping senior executives define their strategic priorities and develop actionable plans for success.  Having served over thirty years as a consultant and strategic adviser to executive teams, Betsy brings a deep understanding of the many challenges organizations face as they strive to develop and implement strategies for profitable growth.  She brings a highly-collaborative style to every engagement, and she skillfully manages strategic planning discussions to ensure an appropriate balance in focus between the macro-level strategic view and the detailed plans necessary to execute the strategy and achieve target results.

Betsy’s career reflects a long track record of successful leadership through a diverse array of strategic initiatives, to include:  orchestrating strategic planning processes; designing and facilitating executive retreats; and developing and implementing strategic programs to enable effective business development, account management, and delivery assurance.

Betsy graduated Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude from Randolph-Macon Woman's College with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics.  She received her Master of Business Administration from The William and Mary Graduate School of Business.  

Lai Lee is co-founder and Partner of High Meadow Strategies.  He is a retired USAF Medical Service Corps (MSC) officer, and has over thirty years of health care administration experience.  His experience includes program development, account management, operations, and policy analysis.

While at Healthways, Inc., a health and wellness company, Lai was one of three team members who developed, marketed, and operated a new health care program, which evolved into a new industry segment known as Disease Management.  His responsibilities included P&L for contracts with health insurance companies and Taft-Hartley self-insured organizations worth over tens of million dollars in annual revenue.  Past clients included several Blues plans, Mutual of Omaha, and John Deere Health.

Lai has served as chairman of the board of directors for Rockbridge Area Occupational Center (RAOC).  RAOC arranges work for people with disabilities.  As Chairman, Lai led the effort to expand RAOC's portfolio of services to outside of its center, which created new work opportunities for RAOC members.

Lai has also led non-profit Boards of Directors through planning retreats to identify and prioritize their strategic plans and to develop detailed action plans.

Lai graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management.  He received his Master of Health Services Administration (MHA) degree from the Medical College of Virginia.
